PIMENTEL AT SENATE FLAG RITES: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III tells Senate employees about the majority public approval and trust ratings of the Senate in a recent Ulat ng Bayan Pulse Asia survey, during the morning flag rites on Monday, November 7, 2016. Pimentel said that he was glad that the public considered the Senate “as an exemplary government institution,” and urged Senate workers to work harder and serve the public better. According to the Pulse Asia survey conducted last September, the Senate enjoys the highest public approval rating (58%) and trust rating (57%) among the country’s top government institutions.
