SOIL MANAGEMENT: Senator Cynthia A. Villar was the keynote speaker during the 5th meeting of ASEAN Soil and Nutrient Management Expert Group hosted by the Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM). The senator, vice chair of the Senate agriculture committee, cited the need to save our soils for sustainable agriculture and food-secured future.
