HARVEST TIME: Sen. Cynthia A. VIllar, happily leads the harvesting of organic ampalaya and other vegetables like upo, patola and mais at the Villar SIPAG farm during the graduation of the third batch of participants on the urban farming training program. The program, which runs for three months, is sponsored by the senator, vice chair of the Senate agriculture and food committee, together with its partners like Villar SIPAG and Allied Botanical Corporation. The latest batch of participants, who came from the NCR and Region 4A, were also given certificates during the graduation ceremony.
