ZUBIRI PRIORITIZES ANTI-RED TAPE & EASE OF DOING BUSINESS IN LEGISLATIVE AGENDA: Sen. Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, Chairman of the Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship urged government agencies to shorten the processing time of securing business permits by extending the validity period of permits, requiring renewal of permits on the anniversary dates of registration, one-time payment of all fees, uniformity of forms, and standardized formula of fees. He also stressed the need for automation to fully implement e-Governance and most of all speed up business transactions. Zubiri spoke at the 42nd Philippine Business Conference and Expo, October 13, 2016 in Marriott Hotel, Parañaque.
