FOOD EXPO: Senator Cynthia A. Villar, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, was the keynote speaker during the 10th Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX) held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Villar said the event provides a good opportunity for us to highlight what we have to offer—especially in terms of agricultural resources to the trade exhibitors and visitors. Also present during the event were trade representatives and members of the diplomatic community and Joseph Ang, founder of MAFBEX Events Management, a subsidiary of Worldbex Services International, the country's biggest trade show organizer.
