BASECO CLEAN UP: Senator Cynthia Villar leads the clean-up activities in Baseco, Manila. The project is being conducted by Villar SIPAG in coordination with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of Environment and Natural Resources - National Capital Region, Metro Manila Development Authority, and residents of Brgy. 649. The senator, a staunch advocate of the environment, has called upon the public to plant mangroves for a healthy surrounding. She also said mangroves help curb floodings.​
