AGROENTERPRISE: Senator Cynthia Villar, chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, discusses the significant contributions of agri-business and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the Philippine economy. The senator was the keynote speaker at the National Forum on Agroenterprise Development for Small ‪Farmers organized by the National Livelihood Development Corporation, the Asia Pacific Rural and Agricultural Credit Association-Center for Training and Research on Agricultural Banking (APRACA-CENTRAB). The theme of the forum was “Leading the Filipino Farming Communities into the Mainstream Economy.”
