GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDEE: Senator Cynthia A. Villar was conferred the Golden Globe Award for Outstanding and Significant Achievement in Public Service during a ceremony at Grand Ballroom of Manila Hotel last April 11. While it feels good to be recognized, Villar says it feels better to know that you are making a difference in people’s lives. She says the distinction inspires her to help more and do more. She reiterates about her passion for livelihood programs that provide fast and direct benefits to our poor countrymen.
