EARTH DAY 2015 AT LPPCHEA: Candidates for Ms. Earth Philippines 2015 join Senator Cynthia A. Villar in cleaning the shoreline of Manila Bay in Las Pinas-Parañaque Critical Habitat Eco-tourism Area (LPPCHEA) during this year’s observance of Earth Day 2015 with the theme, “Earth Day Everyday, Everywhere for Everyone.” The senator, a known environmental advocate, led series of activities in celebration of Earth Day in order to instill awareness among our people on its global importance to our environment and Mother Earth. She notes that Ramsar’s recognition on the global importance of LPPCHEA should be coupled with responsibilities to protect it from all forms of dangers including threats of reclamation.
