SENATE RESUMES BANGSAMORO BASIC LAW HEARING: Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, chair of the Senate Committee on Local Government, stresses the need to determine if there were violations in the ceasefire agreement between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the government following the Mamasapano incident. “If it becomes clear that the ceasefire agreement was not followed, the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) cannot proceed. It is that simple. The BBL is based on the ceasefire agreement. If the ceasefire agreement was not followed, the BBL would not have significance,” Marcos said. Also in photo is Sen. Nancy Binay (left). (PRIB Photo by Romeo Bugante/13 April 2015)
