SLOW AND EXPENSIVE INTERNET: Sen. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV talks to representatives of the country’s top telecommunications companies to discuss the impact of slow and expensive internet connection in the country, which, he says, adversely affects business operations in the Philippines. Aquino also wants to determine if Filipino consumers are indeed getting their money's worth from Internet service being provided by local telecommunication companies, saying that “there are constant complaints about the provider's failure to deliver its expected connection speed, which usually leads to slow Internet link."
