Pia Cayetano, chair of the Senate Committee on Education, Arts and Culture, conducted an investigation Wednesday, August 27, on the construction of the Torre de Manila Condominium, which allegedly violate the city’s zoning rules and block the statue of Dr. Jose Rizal in Luneta.“There is a need to review the policies governing the preservation of national treasures and historical sites.
