CEBU CITY: Senator Teofisto Guingona III addressing the 300 members of the League of Municipal Mayors on their recent gathering at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu.

In his keynote speech, Senator Guingona encourages local government units to capitalize on local products and showcase the best in their region as the country prepares for the coming 2015 ASEAN economic integration. He adds that with the right approach and proper paradigm, the country has the potential to become a major player in the ASEAN economy.
