12TH PHILIPPINE-SPANISH FRIENDSHIP DAY: Senator Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, author of the Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day Act, on Monday leads the commemoration of the Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day which coincides with the 115th anniversary of the Siege of Baler.

Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez was the guest of honor of this year's celebrations in Baler, Aurora with the theme: "Deepening Philippine-Spanish Friendship Through Tourism."
