OPENING THE AGRIBUSINESS CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP BUILDING: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon leads the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new UP Agribusiness Center for Entrepreneurship (UP ACE) Building during its launch at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) in Laguna on Monday, April 7. The UP ACE aims to accelerate the integration of Filipino farmers in the market-driven economy of the country, and as well as to enhance the participation of of small and medium- scale entrepreneurs in the development of the nation’s agribusiness sector. Drilon, whose initiatives were key to the building's completion, was joined in the ceremony by Dr. Rex Victor Cruz, Chancellor of UPLB and Dr. Isabelita Pabuayon, Dean of the College of Economics and Management.
