COMMITTEE HEARING: Senator Aquilion "Koko" Pimentel III presides over a Senate hearing discussing Senate Bill No. 3119, which seeks to criminalize the illegal retention of government-issued identification documents. Pimentel is calling for the approval of the measure to curb the alleged practice of some recruiters of withholding passports and other travel documents of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to coerce them to pay sums of money.
