PEACE AND HOPE IN MINDANAO: Independent Senator Richard J. Gordon, assisted by Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Tourism Regional Director Mokiin Salikmalna, led the symbolic tree-planting ceremony which featured letters of hope and peace written by 100 children and were buried in a "Lakub" (or Vessel of Peace) in Intramuros, Manila. The ambassadors and foreign diplomats witnessed the occasion symbolizing the continuing commitment of Mindanaoans in forging a path towards a just and lasting peace.
