SIGNING OF RENEWABLE ENERGY ACT: Philippne President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (center, seated) signed the renewable energy act of 2008 (RA 9513) that witnessed by the legislators and cabinet memebers at the Rizal Hall, Malacanang Palace on December 16, 2008. Among them was Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri (seated, 3rd from left) who was the author of the said act.
